CARC Two-Meter Phone Net

November 17 @ 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST

Free

CARC Members, Visitors and our Guests gather On-The-Air each Sunday Evening at 7 p.m. for general discussion in a somewhat informal net environment.

Anyone can participate.  Everyone is invited.  Set your Two-Meter transceiver to 146.490 MHz FM Simplex and join the activity.  If you can hear us, we probably can hear you.

The Net Control Station varies with Doug Stenger, KC3CPT or Frank Mellott, KB3PQT taking the lead.  Other members fill-in as NCS when needed.

If you are a licensed Amateur Radio Operator who does not yet have VHF radio equipment and/or an antenna, or if you are located beyond the range of coverage, you may wish to participate in this net using EchoLink.  Download and install the EchoLink software on your PC, iPhone, or Android phone.  Connect to the CARC EchoLink Node 259045, which can be found by searching for call sign AF3I-L.

We also operate a VHF Digital Net each Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m.  That net meets on 146.490 MHz FM Simplex using sound card audio fed into the microphone or data jack on your transceiver.  THOR 22 is our customary mode.
